How to Join the IPLS

Many of you have emailed us the following questions - updated 4-12-2003

Answers

  1. To join, simply email ( inventory@ipls.com ) your inventory or repair capabilities or transfer them directly to our site via our upload page - please make sure you are logged in!.  In addition, please provide your Company contact information in an email message to ( inventory@ipls.com) this information should include ( Company Name, Address, Phone, Fax, Email, Contact Name)

  2. We will begin to charge for the service on May, 1 2003.  For the past seven years we have run the service free for all users.  We can no longer generate enough revenue from advertisements to cover our costs.  If you would like to advertise your products or services please contact us at ads@ipls.com.  We anticipate pricing to be 24.95 per month for individual users and 39.95 (under 20,000 line items) and 59.95 (over 20,000 line items) a month for company subscription plans, which includes 5 simultaneous logins.

  5. Over 1,000 part number and repair capability searches a day.  We also receive many "hits" to our informational databases.

  6. Just send us your updates to the address above and we will replace and insert for you.  If you want to add just a couple of items us our new add feature.  Be sure to be logged in at the time so that your client id is properly used!

  7. Since April 26, 1996 we have believed in the Internet as the communication medium of choice for this kind of service.  All our supporters have helped us through the years provide the kind of service you desire and deserve.  If you get a chance read our original mission in the IPLS gazette - available online.
